Welcome lunches and suppers are a great way to get to know more about the St Peter’s family; to meet others who are new to the church or just exploring Christianity and others of a similar age range and background who are already part of the church family.
It’s also an opportunity to meet members of the staff team and leaders of the church in an informal setting around a meal. Useful information about events and activities can be explained and questioned in informal two-way conversations.
Welcome events are held monthly, with a Sunday lunch in May and an evening supper in November.
Our intention is to help people feel at home within the family of St Peter’s very quickly, to get to know people as quickly as possible and therefore begin to feel part of the life and work of this local parish church.
