Ben Williamson

Ben is our current Crosslinks partner.
Ben initially went to South Africa on a two month SMILE placement in early 2010, where he worked at the Johannesburg Bible College (JBC). In August 2010 Ben returned to work at JBC until the end of 2012. From January 2013 Ben Williamson will work with the first black Bishop in the Church of England in South Africa to be his assistant in the tough Hillbrow area of the city in re-establishing a church and continuing to teach the Bible and train pastors.

Ben's combined experience of two years study on the Cornhill Training Course in London (learning how to understand and teach the Bible), and having trained and worked as a secondary school teacher meant that he was equipped for work within the context of informal theological education and was eager to put his learning to good use.

The Crosslinks website has Ben's latest newsletter.
